Noise from steering column
I have a 2004 SC 430. Their is a random screeching noise that happens occasionally it is not when turning, it just happens intermittently it is not a grinding noise it is a screech, any ideas?

i do know the master cylinder has a pump and it intermittently turns on and off to increase pressure in the brake system.
another might be a fan belt.
