Angry 2008 Lexus SC430 Horn not working

What is wrong with my horn on 2008 Lexus SC430? The weirdest thing is that every now and then, the horn will not work on straight steering position and it's work when I turn a steering wheels on 45 degree angle.

I've researched, it is the fuse, relay or spiral cable went bad?

Please help!!! Does anyone know what is wrong? Thank you...

Definitely not the fuse nor the relay. The only thing left is your horn switch and/or your harness. From your description, I think it’s your harness. Others can chime in.

From your description it’s the spiral cable assembly in the steering column. It’s a simple, but tedious repair. Here’s a you tube video:
If you take this on, battery disconnection is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! Always be careful around any yellow connectors and cables, they are associated with the airbag systems.

I've been chasing an inoperative Horn in my 2006 SC430. I've replaced the clock spring (radio controls work) and the airbag, as well as the fuse. There is a relay somewhere I can find the part # but not where or which relay it is. Anyone know the location? Thank you

I purchased but have not installed the spiral cable, its an OEM part and more expensive than the "generic" versions that are available.
I also previously attached a "ground" extra cable from the top of the telescoping steering wheel assembly to a known ground....that did not address the intermittant horn issue.....
I have not installed the spiral cable yet....
Sorry I cant help w the relay question....I thought doing the spirac cable would be a slam dunk repair , now I am not so sure....
Let us know what you find...I also have a 2006 SC430

Based on this website, there is not a horn relay. Just a horn fuse.
https://fuse-box.info/lexus/lexus-sc...001-2010-fuses

I would check the actual Horn on your car. Get a test light and attach it to the horn wires. When you honk the horn, the light should light up.

Here is a video from good 'ol scotty that covers the different causes
