Sold My SC430
Tonight I sold my SC430, my Baby... I introduced the buyer to the best blog there is! That would be this blog. Treat him nice. I learned so much on this blog, and owe many of you so much. I loved my car for the past 5 year plus...it was the best car I have owned. I am going to go without for a while and see what happens. Again, thank you, thank you for the advice and help. Keith

best of luck and happy motoring!
Keith, we have all been there before - few cars are lifelong mates. But I think all of us here can agree the the SC is a special vehicle that few others will top for looks, quality, driving experience and just plain FUN!
Heck, you'll start to miss it so bad, you'll have to get another. Or you could go buy yourself the new LC500 :-)

Keith, That's a tough call, and it's quite possible/likely you'll miss your SC over time and want to jump back in. That's what I did when I sold my 2009 Pebble Beach... It took me a few months to realize how special these cars are, and I ended up with a 2006 w/18k miles (now has 21k miles). Good luck to you, and feel free to loiter around in this forum - it really is one of the best!

Please let us know if you ever replace it with a similar or same style vehicle. It would be great to see what you get or if you can resist temptation. Thanks for your contribution to the forum. Best wishes.
I plan to stick around. This is the best place for info. Who knows, 1 or 2 years down the road I will probably be ready for new Baby. Thanks for all your help. This is the best site to learn. I thank each of you for your help. Most, no all of what I did would have been impossible without you. Keith
Well, since selling my SC430, I decided to trade my Outback in on another Lexus. So, I am buying an ES350. Right now we are going down to 1 car...retired, and we don't need 2 right now. I don't have it yet, but will early next week. My friend in SW Georgia whom I buy my cars from is delivering it next week. So I will just switch Forums... I hope it is all right, but I will "stalk" this one too... Keith

you are always Welcome here...guess you are SC430 alumni ;-)
I just sold mine, too! I had it for 3 years and I was always amazed at how much attention it still received. But, it was time to move on. If any of you are in Wisconsin, my car is at Brown Deer Motors. It has some door dings, but is an excellent car for the money. I have spent about $8k fixing it up over the last 3 years. It's an 05 with 63K miles.
