Default Looking into purchasing SC430

I am 6-4 feet tall and wondering if SC430 is a great daily car for anyone over 6 feet tall? Additionally, I was looking to purchase 04 SC430 with 120k miles, clean title, 2 owners, and located in CA. Is there anything I should look for? Thanks in advance.

If you can afford, I would recommend 05+ models. They had some upgraded stuffs. Welcome to the club.

If you can afford, go for the 06+. You get the Updated LED taillight/headlight. And Bluetooth phone and you can updated the headunit with Bluetooth audio streaming.

I just purchased an 03, and I am 6'3 and fit in with no problems. Pretty comfortable car. No room in the back, and the seat is all the way back, but its pretty spacious. Good luck with your purchase.

Make sure T-belt service has been done, check valve covers for leaks, and check for any excessive wind noise at highway speeds. These are all the things I recently checked.

Default Purchasing a Lexus

I purchased n "07 in March of this year and love the car. I am 6' even and I drive with the car seat all the way back. Anyone taller than me may feel a little cramped. I'd try and borrow the car for most of the day and really get a feel for it. Good luck-it is a great car.

i am 6’3” and have plenty of room to spare, now if he weights 400lbs, that might be an issue

I'm 6'2" and fit without issues. I survived long drives pretty well. Even though the seat has adjustable lower back support, I ended up using a piece of foam to provide more. Also, when I sit really straight, I notice the windshield shade blocks part of my view. You really need to drive the car a bit - it should not take long for you to determine if you like the driving position. As has been said, we all put the seat back as far as it will go. The amount of rearward rake the seat back has will have a lot to do with your view and enjoyment.

I had to drape a towel between the front and rear seat because of the "creaking" leather. I also ended up putting a small strip of black duct tape on the upper edge of the driver's seat belt clip on the rear seat stanchion. I traced down another annoying noise to that spot.

Good luck and let us know what you do.
