Kaaz lsd uzz40 dat3020?
I came across this LSD Differential, it says compatible with UZZ40
SC430 Chassis is UZZ40
Does anyone know if this will fit in SC430 Pumpkin?
APPLICATION 6:
Make - Lexus
Model - Soarer
Series - UZZ40
Year - August 1996 - April 2003
Make - Lexus

An update for this
I e-mailed Kaaz about their LSD if it will fit SC430 and this is their respond:
Also Kaaz attached two photos for explaning:
First photo no cut out from 2004 - 2010.
Second photo with the cut out for 2002 - 2003, The ones will fit.
So the only way to fit Kaaz LSD 2 way by buying 2002 or 2003 pumpkin.

Thank you for your inquiry.
The part number DAT3020 will only fit the UZZ40 until about April '03 production.
Sometime in 2003, Toyota made a change in the rear differential casing
design. The older unit had a cutout on the casing to allow our lsd to fit.
The newer casing does not have this cutout so our unit will not fit.
I don't think the newer SC430 have this cutout.
Please see the attached photo showing the cutout and not cutout.
The only way to fit our unit to the newer vehicle will be to swap out
the rear differential casing to the older style.

Not all Soarer pumpkins will have same 3.26 gear ratio as that of our SC430 .

SC300 and SC400 both fit Kaaz LSD, ratio 4.11 - 3.91, but i don't know if they can fit in SC430.
According to this thread, it seems 2002 is only one that different from the rest "2003-2005".
To narrow it down to 2003 i guess.
