Hi,

The 6x9 speaker in the passenger door has the dreaded known foam degrade! Quick question, Can I replace the speaker just bye taking off the Speaker Grill to remove the 4 screws? Or does the interior door panel have to be removed?

Sorry for the post, i found the thread that shows you have to remove the door!

I can pull the door panel on the SC430 in 5 minutes. Don't let it intimidate or stop you from repairing or replacing the speakers.

It is pretty easy to take the door panel off. It is also easy to replace the foam, or the speaker. You just need to make sure you get the right speaker. There is plenty of help on the board.
