I think it is time to change my motor mounts. I recall somewhere on the board that the transmission mount rarely goes bad, so most just change the engine mounts.

The car is 12 years old with 125K miles on it, should I change the transmission mount also?

True it's not under the kind of stress the motor mounts are. I personally would change it anyway. It's easy to change, and peace of mind that it isn't allowing extra movement that could expedite wear on the new motor mounts. Just my thoughts.

+1 with Coleroad. Think I remember a fellow member that replaced it on his SC and found it very worn. He attributed it to all of the low speed speed-bumps his SC has to go over on a regular basis.
