Default Copper Plastidip on blue SC430!

Didn't think it would turn out this good. About 6 hours of labor though. $70 bucks out of pocket for the paint. 4 layers of black plastidip and 3 layers of copper plastidip.

The black AutoDip is for my IS300... Not done yet
3 layers of black plastidip with copper metalizer on top

Looks great! Nicely done! What was the base metal of the rim? Was it chrome? I've always wondered if PlastiDip works over chrome. Awesome results!

Looks good.

To add a little more shine, you could do the same to the Lexus "L" emblems.

DRL looks good, it gives a little modern touch. But in general, my own taste is that for a car like SC430 you don't want it to look like a teenager's car because it doesn't fit its upscale image. And too much loud appearance modification risks turning it into a teenager's car, just MHO.

Sorry for the late replies. Here is where I purchased the LEDs for the bumpers. iJDMTOY Universal Fit 10W High Power CREE LED Daytime Running Light Kit For Car SUV Truck https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U7X7UAS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_wZ1XzbMZK0J1W

It was quite the modification effort to get them to fit. I wired the ON functionality with park light wiring. Great end result though they are extremely bright in the daytime. I also disabled my OEM DRLs with the TechStream software.

I love the look of the wheels on your car. I don't care much for the black grill but the beauty of this country is that you can do what you want and not worry about other peoples tastes

Default Plasti dip

I really like what you did, gives me confidence to try something similar for my front grill.

if you play with plastidip, make sure you do several coats, it will hold up better AND it will peel off in large pieces vs little tiny ones...trust me, I learned the hard way.

if you are having problems removing it, spray more on, then it will come off easier.
