So I did a lot of background research on spacers before purchasing a set of Akata/Vossen 30mm BOLT-ON Hubcentric Black Anodized Spacers for my rears. I drive my SC430 pretty hard and fast, pretty often. I had those spacers mounted for about two years before ordering new deeper rims. The spacers added a more aggressive look, and more rear traction (negligible/debatable). They never gave me a problem. With that being said, they were BOLT-ON. I've heard nightmares about slide-on spacers, particularly if the owner does not choose to buy/use longer lug studs. This of course depends on the depth of the spacer. Will 10mm slide on spacers cause the studs to shear? Hopefully not. Although as the video below explains, since they are not hubcentric there's more force on the studs. Anyway, just something to think about if anyone stumbles onto this post and is thinking of going with deeper spacers. My recommendation, if available in the size you need, go with bolt-on hubcentric rather than slide-on spacers. Also, I recommend using antiseeze on all lug threads when possible, and of course. torque all lugs to spec. Oh and I guess lug nuts too, check out second video.

Got clearance issue fixed. Countoured the caliper bracket with a dremel flapper wheel. Probably about 2mm on two very small spots. Was planning on smoothing them (casting pits etc) before painting them anyway.
