Default Dealer wanted to make me an offer on my SC430, I said no

Just got the car back from service today. They went over the car with a fine-tooth comb and didn't find any issues except for a couple of power steering hoses. The service rep said they were looking for SC430s as they only last on the dealer lot a couple of days. She said if I ever wanted to trade / sell it to let her know. I said I just got the car from Florida and I have no intention on selling it at the present time. She asked how much I paid if I didn't mind, I said sure, I paid $11,800 total and that was including shipping to get the car to Raleigh, NC (it's a 2002 SC430 with 104k). Overall I love the car and the only way I'll get rid of it is if I find another SC430 I want to buy!

It's that time of year up north, too. I was at the Lexus dealer getting the 15,000 mile service done on the RX350 and my salesman asked me the same thing about my SC430. They are looking for some SC430's because customers are asking them if they have any in stock from trades. etc. Seems they get many requests in the spring. Service manager mentioned that they service about 5 or 6 local SC430's this time of year as they are taken out of the garage for the warm summer months. I'm with you, Kevin, let them wait, I'm keeping mine.
