I just bought (Canada) a 2002 SC430 with 17,000 km (10,600 miles), Egyptian Sand paint, saddle leather. It was the original owner. He did not get the navigation system but did buy the spoiler. It came with run flats but he replaced them. There is no spare but I am looking at getting the spare kit. Pretty expensive but still some available. The rear trunk lid struts need replacing. I also have a hardtop convertible pickup (2006 Chev SSR).
Actually, I have a: 2010 Cadillac CTS (daily driver), 1976 Triumph TR6, the 2006 Chev SSR and 4 motorcycles. Just sold a 2003 Jeep Wrangler and a 2007 FJ Cruiser to buy the Lexus. Can't have too many vehicles, I say. Wife and child count = 0.
I love the color combo! I have the saddle interior but a black exterior. Black looks great but it's a hand wash job and a frequent one at that! I didn't know that the navigation was an option (maybe only in Canada?). I like the look of the woodwork without the interruption of the nav door. Great find!!

....I think those numbers equal out pretty good...lol

....the navigation was an option the first couple of years, here (U.S.) & everywhere, but most people opted for it & the one's that weren't ordered, were equipped with it for the mark up
Congrats on the purchase. Being a 2002, unless the nav has been updated lately you probably won't use it much. A lot of us here have opted to install newer headunits with bluetooth capability and nav built in.
Actually, mine does not have the nav system. So the dash wood trim is one long piece with no cutout/door where the nav goes. The navigation system was a $2000 option in Canada. And run flat tires were standard. To put a newer nav system in where the Lexus one goes, I would have to replace that wood trim. And probably other stuff. So far making do with my Garmin suction cupped to the windshield.
I agree, the original wood trim looks really nice. With smart phones these I wonder why people still need car nav.
no Internet area. Or you are low on cellular data on your account.
or in my case I can run the OEM nav unit on the top screen and run a separate destination on an iPhone on the 4200 pioneer and they both give turn by turns through the cabin speakers.
Iphone was on Bluetooth connection to the dash pioneer playing music and the nav program on it was in the background on it.
finally turned off the OEM voice then the route guidance as we changed from going home on the OEM nav to a favorite Mexican restaurant. So we let the iPhone route us instead.
I upgraded the OEM navi system to a gen 4 unit but still never use it. I will turn it on sometimes but Waze on my phone is so much easier to use, more accurate and more up to date. It rerouts me when there is a traffic jam and shows me where the police are located. It's a free app.
