If you purchased your SC430 recently, how much did you pay?

Congrats on the 07 SC. Welcome to Club Lexus. Did you run the VIN in Lexus Drivers to get the service history?

2006 SC White Crystal Gold
Hello all,
Finally got my wife her dream car she has been eyeing since they came out. She saw her very first one back in 2005 on vacation and told her when the kids were gone and off to college we could look. I found her a 2008 Mazda Miata to play around in until then. Finally researched and pulled the trigger on a 2006 SC with only 31,000, mint condition and paid $21,000. The owner himself was a SC fan and he upgraded to a 2008 with only 20,0000. She couldn’t be happier!!! The owner recommended this forum and it has helped me a ton. Look forward to many chats!!!

In December 2018 I bought a 2007 with 68K miles, black & black, for $16,750. Private sale
This week I intend to close on a 2004 with 43,600 miles, silver with black interior, for $18,000. Lexus dealer.
I'm willing to pay more for an older car with less milage. I debated buying a 2010 with 128K miles for about the same $18K. I'm still of the mindset that less milage is better in spite of reading about highly dependable higher milage cars.

Congrats on the SC's and Welcome to Club Lexus. I believe BGW70 is the only other member with 2 SC's that I know of?

2005 SC430 with 40K miles - $20K
Just purchased 2005 SC430 with 40K miles. Paid $20,500 and replaced timing belt along with waterpump and belts for $1,100. Also, replace factory radio with Alpine ILX-107 (with wireless CarPlay and backup camera) for $1,500. I also repaired the door speakers, rear side speakers and subwoofer with simply speaker repair kit. I am interested in keeping it as stock as possible and kept the motorized door on the radio. I sold 3 motorcycles (2 Harley Ultra Classic and Honda Valkyrie) due to distracted driving and enjoying the convertible. We have purchased 3 Lexus RX SUV for my wife over the past 15 years and I have always driven Toyota Tundra. We decided to stay with the Toyota family and purchase the SC430 due to reliability history and Lexus dealership that is overwhelmingly honest and customer service is over the top. I know I paid retail price, but the car is immaculate and well maintained records serviced by Lexus throughout it’s life. Enjoy reviewing the threads and a big thanks to all that participate. Cheers to all the SC owners and I look forward to reading many more posts.

New to me SC430
I was not really looking for a car at the time however, I kept noticing the SC in a parking lot in an old Victory Motorcycle dealership. I had been driving a 1999 Miata with 128,000+ miles. My back had been bothering me while driving the Miata. My wife actually mentioned I should call and ask about the car. Turned out it is a 2002 with 88,000+ miles. They were asking $12,500. I said if $9000 would do it I would look at it closer. The owner agreed. It’s now mine and I couldn’t be happier.
