We see a lot of new faces on the SC430 board nowadays.

If you purchased your SC430 in the last year or two, please post:

1. Year & Mileage of your SC430
2. The price you paid

(I would like to get an understanding for what my high-mileage (170K miles) 2002 SC430 may be worth... but I'm sure others are interested too!)

Well, I didn't buy, but I did sell mine. It was a 03, with 55,332 miles. All stock except it had 06 sc430 wheels. It sold for 16,650. I think they got a heck of a deal on her.

08 PB 18k miles. $30k. New condition

06 Mica Red, 59K miles, Excellent Shape, $20k

I bought a 2002 silver with black interior, 45K miles, for $16500 in Sep '15. Traded it in on a 2006 Chardonnay Pearl with Ecru interior, 18K miles, immaculate, for $25,500 in June of 2016.

That was some deal you got on your '08 Pebble Beach, Caflashbob!

Work . I was pretty picky and did not want one with

weird deal as we own a solara convertible with 145k miles we use as a tow car behind our Rv.

at the Rv lot a neighbor had the car sitting there out of its enclosed car hauler. So pretty I walked over to admire it.

the owner said it was for sale as the wife preferred riding on the back of their new Harley trike.

i had no idea of the value/price at the time but the 30 was our max budget.

He said ok. A week later we finished the deal as he was out of town.

has a transferable Lexus platinum zero deduct warranty until dec 2017 and/or 47k miles

nice car. Had to leave it in a neighbors garage as a family emergency in Omaha required us to drive the Rv with the solara immediately.

it has new Pirelli tires also.

now that I see how much they were new I think the price was very fair.

I bought my single owner 05 this summer with 66K for 21K. Looks like I overpaid a little, but this is my favorite car I have ever owned so I don't mind.

Not too recent, 2002, 63k miles, $15k

Mine, 07 ,58 k miles , mint condition, 28 grand.

2015 purchase of 2006 single owner with 74k miles for $21k. Clean CarFax report. Had all the service records and was up to date on maintenance.

I purchased my 2007 a year ago for $29,000. It was mint show room condition with only 30,000 miles. I probably paid a little too much, but it was a one owner in Scotsdale, always serviced at the lexus dealer and not a mark or ding on it. I have only put 2000 miles on it but it is still perfect, glad I found it.

For my AUGUST 2001 SC, I paid $15k AU 3 months ago, which is equivalent to $ 20k US. The asking price was $19k AU. It has 160k kilometers, 100k miles.
I don't know why the big difference, but here in Australia the 2001 sold for $162k AU new & the 2010 for $165k AU which equates to around $110k US in todays money. Admittedly, our cars last longer here as they don't see any snow, but it still doesn't justify the big difference in cost.
There was only around 675 units sold here between 2001 & 2010. As far as I know around 65 thousand in the States. Even though we like the SC a lot, the popularity here isn't as much as the Mercedes Sports cars. I don't get the looks that a lot of you guys say you get, even though mine is in top condition all around. However my 1960 Thunderbird is an Eye magnet.
