Default small paint chips

Hi all...

so i just took delivery of my 2006 special edition sc430.

it's gorgeous and i'm crazy happy about the deal i got on it.

quick question tho... the paint is that "Tiger Eye Mica." And there are small chips in the paint on the hood (typical i'm sure)

do any of you folks have a preferred method for dealing with chips like these? would love to know my options!

thanks much!

I have used touch up paint from Dr. Colorchip many times and it is the best thing that I have found for "DIY". BUT, it is not going to look perfect and the results are sometimes dependent on the color you are trying to repair...for example, anything with "pearl" in the name is never going to look exactly like a pro job. But, if the color is simple and the chips are not huge, it does a good job of making the "wound" become far less noticeable. I've used it on 6 - 8 different colors and have always been satisfied with the result. There are several YouTube videos you can watch to see how to apply and check out the results. Hope this helps.
