Default AC/Heater Servo Motors

Can a faulty AC/Heater servo cause my 03 SC cabin to have an engine smell. They seem to be working (diverting the air to windshield, dash and floor).

Is it like a rotten egg smell? Heard that smell is specific to the catalytic converter. If it's more like a dead animal smell, check your air filter box. Common to find dead mice in there (from experience).

No, it's mildew. There are many videos show you how to deal with this. Search it on Google. Practically, it's Lysol spray into inlet with air condition full blast on fresh air. You have to treat it regularly, once a week, to get rid of the smell.
