Recommended is 33 psi, based on Factory settings. 33 psi is based on OEM size tires, the calculation is the net free area of the rubber that contacts the road. Perhaps you can go to the tire manufacturer and see if you can get a recommended psi. It is all about your preference though, hard or soft ride. The goal is the tire is on even contact with the asphalt. Lower psi means more contact, like the racing cars, more traction. Higher psi saves more of the life of the tires. Do not know if I helped. Good luck.

Inflate the tires to the pressure you think they should be. Then draw a chalk line across the tread on each tire. Drive it down a block or two. The chalk line should be worn evenly across the entire tread. One block should be enough to tell. Adjust tire pressure as needed to achieve even contact.

Sounds like a very good idea. I'll try it as soon as I get some chalk.

Thank you.
Chris.
