What's New for 2004?
Very good question. I am very close to buying a new 2003 and have been searching the internet for any information on changes for 2004.
I can't find anything indicating any changes for 2004 on the SC 430. There is plenty of information on changes for other models such as LS 430, RX 330, GS 430, but nothing on SC 430. I take this to mean that any changes to the SC 430 will be minor and the 2004 model will be essentially unchanged. However, it would be nice to be certain before buying the 2003. My sources of information are edmunds.com and carsdirect.com and doing various keyword searches on google.com
New models generally come out in august or september although the 2004 RX 330 is already available. The one thing I am worried about is the possibility that they are sitting on information about significant changes in order to clear 2003 inventory and maximize sales by getting buyers of the 2003 model to trade in for a more desirable 2004 model. Let's face it, this is a car you can get excited about. If you miss changes in an LS or GS - so what. But if they made the 2004 SC 430 with a remote top down feature, better wheels, new color choices, and more trunk space as standard features, I would be pissed.
All that said I still think any major changes would be highly publicized by now since the major auto shows have taken place or will soon take place. The Geneva auto show took place recently and that is where Mercedes debuted the new CLK cabriolet and there was plenty of information about the changes to the mercedes prior to that.

there will be no changes for 2004, lexus tried the lexus link for 2003 model and the response was not good, so they made it with out it, again for maybe a metal sheet change, there will be none..... SC430 will look the same..... wich is great for us who have one already.......
