Default Throttle responance ???

Im a new owner of a low mile 2004 sc430..My question is there a adjustment for the throttle control as
there seems to be some play in the foot feed before any gas or motion is had...Please reply..

Search the forum for "Trans Pressure Mod." Best investment I've ever made for benefit in terms of speed upgrade for the SC.

...also some say do the disconnect battery trick , to clear the ECU. It has learned the previous owners driving style & clearing the ECU will help it learn your driving habits. These cars with factory settings, will always have a lag to them, some worse than others. The Trans Pressure Mod that ShawnOk mentioned is a big help & also the Sprint Booster

Can you give nw some info on the trans mod? Is it a kit,or a adjustment, or just what is in involved

Try searching and always use these words first, SC430, then what you are looking for...I used the following,

Yes BGW is correct. Use those specific terms when searching for the Trans Pressure Mod. or even google with "SC430 Trans Pressure Mod Club Lexus." The link that BGW has posted is quite informative but there are others on this forum.
