Default Audio Amplifier

Yesterday, we took the SC out for dinner. On the way to restaurant I turned on the radio and no sound. All parts of the audio system seemed to work....tape deck, CD Changer, Radio. The LCD display lights were even on. Same thing when we left the restaurant. I took it out of the garage this morning to check the 30 amp fuse on what I would presume to be the power amplifier and when I turned on the radio, I had sound and every thing seemed to work.

I had put the Battery Tender on the car the previous evening because we had not driven it in a while. It was the first time since I purchased the car in December that I had used the Battery Tender on it. I plugged the Battery Tinder into the cigarette lighter which is the same way I have kept other cars charged. Is that a problem? Any thoughts? (I kept looking for the "mute" button that it thought I must have accidentally depressed.) It's working now, but, for future reference I would like to know what caused it to happen.

That's a new one to me. There is no mute button, though several of us use the steering wheel volume preset button as a mute button. (I'm guessing that you tried raising the volume with the ****, right?)
