I just got a low mile 2004 sc430 how can I confirm the software package the nav is now running???

 

Press menu button then press DVD button in upper right corner of the screen.

 

You mean the maps version? Easiest to just eject the DVD in the boot.

There is a menu option (top right of one of the screens) but my memory is hazy... no doubt someone will be along in moments to say exactly which screen it's on.

If you mean which Generation of SatNav that is a hardware thing. You'll have a Gen 2 or Gen 3 (not a lot of difference between those two... French added was it? something silly... unless your a French speaker!)

My car is a 2004 so does anyone out there have the dvd info that would have lastest up date for this system??

 

13.1 like you see in my picture is the last update for GPS for your generation GPS

There will be no more updates for this generation GPS. The 2013 version (13.1) is the last and most updated version

 

Yes thats the number I was looking for,should that not be the number I have where would be the best place to locate it..I know the dealership would be sky high....Thanks again

 

Someone else will need to chime in, because I know there are fakes out there. Someone else can tell you how to make sure you get a original dvd.

 

OK thanks for info, I do use my iphone gps alot but the 13.1 would be ok around here for a while...Cant afford a new system right now but will be in the cards later...This is best forum I have ever been on, thanks so much..

 

You can find the 13.1 version for Gen 2/3 on EBay. Sometimes dealers have it on sale so check with MyLParts and South Atlantic Lexus parts online. You can still call Sewell Parts and get prices on the phone 214-353-2850
