Default Tail light lens

How do you remove and reinstall just the lens in the rear light assembly in 2002 SC430 ? I can see that it probably just snaps out using a screwdriver as a pry tool but want to be sure !

At the bottom in-board side of the lens assembly is a small bolt covered by a plastic tab. Pry open the plastic tab to access the bolt, loosen bolt and the lens assy can be jiggled loose with a pull backwards ( toward the back of the car ) kind of motion.

Thanks but I did remove the whole assembly, however I want to now just remove the Red reflective lens from the assembly frame. It was broken and I have a new one to replace it.

I think that would require baking it. I don't think there is a way to remove only the plastic clear part without warming up the adhesive that holds it in place.

The link below in my posts are part of my signature and showcases my car. It was not a link to help with your problem. But as I said, you probably need to bake the tail light to loosen the adhesive and change the lens. Would honestly make more sense to just buy a new tail light from ebay.
