Default Tail light lens replaement.

Well, I came home from out of town to find that my dear wife broke the left rear tail light. She thankfully missed the body.I came directly inside and ordered a new one fom Sewell's but I can't find a thread on how to remove the old one. Anyone remove/replace a rear lens assembly? any tricks? Thanks

Fairly easy. Just need to make sure the body is taped up so you do not end up scratching the paint. Tip: Pull away on the assembly, horizontally (do not bend), it will release do not worry.

Mandyfig, thanks for the hint. The new tail light lens was waiting for me today when I got home. Took less then 5 minutes to remove and replace. My wife realizes she is a lucky gal as the whole experience could have been a lot worse.
