Poll: G-Spider or Tourmaline
I kind of prefer OEM because they always appeal to a larger audience in case you ever needed to sell your car or your wheels. I just purchased an SC430 and I’d always just skip over any sellers that had “custom” wheels on their cars. Some aftermarket wheels really complement the SC430 but others I wonder what was the owner thinking when they put those wheels on that car???
Well anyway, the two OEM wheel designs I’ve been considering are G-Spider or Tourmaline. Which do you think looks best? Are there any other OEM wheel types for the SC430 besides these and the pie-plate or twisted star?
Thanks.

I had Tourmalines on my 2009 Pebble Beach, and I did like the look. They were also fairly easy to keep clean.
For my new (to me) 2002 SC430, I just ordered the G-Spiders. They were actually a bit cheaper than the Tourmalines (I paid a total of $936 for a set through Lexus Parts World with the 10% CL5 discount), and I really do like the look of them. Can't comment yet on how easy they are to keep clean (they are due to arrive today and be installed tomorrow), but I'm looking forward to getting rid of the "Pie Plate" wheels I have now!

I personally always like the G-Spiders better myself. That being said, I went with a set of MRR-GT1s. They are available in more sizes (wider or taller), better offsets to fill the wheel wells and are far lighter than OEMs.
As you can see, they look very similar. Very happy with them

I have both sets actually.
I have the Tourmalines for my all season tires and the G-Spiders for dedicated snow tires.
I was having a lot of trouble deciding when I first wanted to upgrade so this was my compromise.
In retrospect, I prefer the Tourmalines over the G-Spiders, but they are pretty nice as well.

Looks good. Partial to my Tourmalines though!
