Default Advice on how to connect AC lines and hold pressure

Working on my car after getting it back from bad mechanic. The jerk didn't correctly reconnect the AC lines and now it's not holding pressure. The leak is right on the firewall, with one big and one small line. When I disconnect the lines I tried to reconnect using an o-ring gasket but it's still not holding pressure. Probably need OE o-rings, but I did this last summer and got it to hold pressure fine.

Anyone been through this dilimma? Will post pics tomorrow..

I'm not sure if the size of the o rings are correct. Do you suggest using OE or do aftermarket work?? They don't seem to be snug? Would you happen to know the part number for OE??

I'm going to call MyLparts.com today. I think the ycorrect way to articulate my problem is that I am "looking for o-rings for the evaporator tube assembly (887103A150) for my 2002 sc430".

Worst case scenario is that I will go to parts department at stealer ship..

I called Lexus of South Atlanta, and they were very helpful. For future reference, the part numbers for the gaskets (o-rings) are 9099-14120, 9909-14121, and 9909-1419.

Pretty sure I located the correct o-rings; the guy at lexus parts of south atlanta indicated that there are only 3 o-rings on the entire car and I purchased them all. Hopefully it works!
