Air conditioner contro unit
I purchased an SC430 late last year and love the car. About a week ago I started having an issue with the controls on the AC unit. When temp is set to 65 degrees it blows cold air (a good thing in Texas)but when I adjust to 66 degrees it blows hot air. The AUTO only blows a full no mater what temp I set it to. Does this sound like I need to replace the unit?

Congratulations on your acquisition and welcome to the forum.
There was a posting in the last 6 months (probably in the last 3 months) about cleaning the cab air temperature sensor. There is access to it just above the driver's right knee. There is a little vent like opening there (about 1" x 1"). Do a search for the thread. It has instructions and pictures. Hopefully, that is all it is. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
