The speakers in my SC are a mess. I've learned all about getting at the 6x9s and how to repair them. I haven't learned how to get at the 5" mid-ranges in the back seat area, but I'm sure it's here somewhere. I even learned tonight that my SC has a subwoofer!! I certainly can't hear it and who would guess one sits under the backseat. I wish I had heard a buzzing rattle back there, but I have not. Can I still expect to find a speaker that can be repaired?

 

In order to get to the subwoofer, you'll have to remove the backseat, as well as a bunch of trim pieces in the trunk. The rear speakers are just a couple of trim pieces away as well once the backseat is removed. You can find detailed instructions in this thread:

As for the speakers, they're not that hard to find. In hopes of not sounding too self-serving, I have some SC430 speakers (including the subwoofer) for sale myself, just check the SC430 classifieds if interested.
