I have been looking for a bumper bodykit as well. I saw several on amazon and ebay, but I'm not confident in the fitment and quality. Anyone have experience in this area?

I was in the same boat a while ago and the forum directed me to the best site and authority on SC 430 body kits. Google Carson Toyota in LA and ask for Luis Salazar in body parts. He heads the kit section for Carson. He knows all of the kits in the US as well as what is available in Japan.

Be very careful in your kit selection because most of the kits out there are poor fit OR they are constructed out of cheap material such that you will pay more getting the fiberglass prepped for paint. It is better to spend money up front to get quality pieces than having to pay a painter all that money to get the pieces in shape for paint. You really don't want your kit pieces to be made of fiberglass, but instead made out of a high grade plastic. Talk to Luis and he will educate you on all of this.

My car is now being painted after putting a full body kit on the entire car

Hope some of this helped

I'd say you're half right. You definitely want to avoid cheap body kits. They will cost you more in the long run and won't look as good when you're done. But some of the best body kits are made out of fiberglass.

I have the AutoCouture full body kit. It's fiberglass and took minimal prep work. It more or less bolted right on. I'm pretty sure the Job Design and Artisan kits are fiberglass too.

...I can vouch for the Job Design kit being fiberglass, I just got mine put on last week
