Front Fender LED Turn Indicator Light?
Hello Everybdy! Just joined the club. Though we previously had a 1998 Lexus 400 which we loved, we were Lexus-deprived until last weekend when we purchased a 2008 SC 430 Pebble Beach Edition with which we are equally enamored, if not moreso. There is only one annoying problem which came with this car. We have never seen these on any other SC 430, but our car has small LED lights on the front fenders, inline with, and just aft of, the Pebble Beach Edition emblems. The seller, a large Lexus dealer, did not know how they got there or how to help us with this problem: the one on the driver's side is missing the lens which goes over the array of tiny LED lights. We found out that these lights blink in synch with the turn signals, and both sides flash once when the car is locked.
We assume that this may he some aftermarket add-on by the previous owner. The missing lens bothers me and yet I am going crazy coming up with zilch when searching Google or eBay. Does anyone in the club have any experience with these side lights and/or know how to locate a replacement lens?
Thank you!

It sounds like someone installed the British side markers. They're required by law over there. I would try finding a Lexus dealer in England and ordering the part from them. If you decide to remove them, you'll have to do body and paint work.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase dvd007.
Look on the fixture for lettering that will indicate the maker or part number. Also check the one that still has its lens on it. Take a picture and post it here to help others help you do a search. You could also take the good lens off and take it to an autoparts store for identification or to find a different part that will fit and work.
Good luck.
