Success! I have my Cusco bar ordered! Can not wait! DarthSid thanks a lot, without your persistence, I would have given up.

What I really have to do is change my air box for my Injen intake. As one of the members said, I have destroyed the clean look of my engine bay with the improvised air box.

I may just need to fabricate an aluminum plate with insulation for the make over. I will. Just in time for my Cusco bar...

Great news, and you are very welcome. Give it a good five to seven days since the lay-up will be at customs. It's a very easy installation. Do not remove the protective blue tint wrapping from the bar until it's installed. Otherwise you run the risk of scratching the nicely polished bar.

Great stuff Sid!

The strut bar definately makes the front end feel lighter when cornering!

Can not wait. I have been patiently waiting for a breakthrough, right price, the right part. There were horror stories about rubbing on some of the bars installed.

And testimonials that say it makes a difference, that's what I wanted to hear.

So I put in the order some time ago via Paypal, around $200. A week later the Cusco Bar arrives at this SURUGA place. Suruga ships out via Japan Post (EMS) on 04/01 US time, means 03/31 Japan time. I traced it going through Japan and New York. And Postman hands me the Strut Bar today (had it delivered at work). So a 3 day shipping time.

Xmas came early! Cannot wait to fit it. Am sure no issues.

Pics coming soon.

Thanks again Darthsid!

I ordered 03/19th US time and got it 04/03rd US. Be patient guys. You will have to pay PayPal fees, not too bad.

Good to hear. This is one of the easiest installations/mods you'll have. Just remove the strut caps, grommets and three (3) nuts per side. Clean the area up, keep the blue cellophane on the tower bar during the installation to avoid marring the finish on the bar.

Great news mandy. Quick shipment. I also placed one on order from another site and is shipping via boat. DarthSid's helpful POC lost my original email which I didn't know until later. Thought it was a dead end and searched elsewhere. Re-emailed POC and could have ordered, however the other order was being processed. About the same cost, however you had air and I have boat. Hope to get by end of month.

Thank you for the great help.
Should be super simple assembly.
I assume there is no specified torque for the 3 nuts only good mechanic tight.
Also, I'll be placing a towel on the engine cover to protect it from the bar.

The instructions were Japanese and I wanted to know what the torque was. I may need to scan and translate. For now I did it tight, same feel as when I broke it loose which was real tight.

But the right torque has to be applied. Obviously there are lot of forces applied on the 3 bolts.

Will post my pics soon.

That's what I did since I couldn't read the instructions. I just tighten the bolts as found.

I emailed Mathieu with a copy of the Manual and requested translation, soon as received, I will share. I also have a buddy who can read Japanese. We will torque it right.
