rear clicking when car is hot
So living in SoCal gives my black 02 plenty of opportunity to get crazy hot. When I drive home, after the car has been out in the sun for the whole day and is boiling hot, there is a clicking sound coming from somewhere in the back on the driver side. At first I thought it was something in the roof but it seems to be even further back.
I mentioned it to my body guy and he said that this is a common problem in some cars including volvos and is the temp controller turning on and off. The sound is almost like bearings cranking against eac hother and only happens when the car is really hot and im moving.
After he mentioned it, I suppose it COULD sound like a solenoid or something similar turning on and off but I dont know for sure.
Has anyone had any issues like this? Everything works in the car as far as I know.
Thanks!
