I can't believe I read the first three lines of your post not realizing it was written by YOU! Cracked me up when I got to line four! 
How were you able to apply the side moldings and get them straight? Are they level with reality? Or are they aligned with something on the car.

Gotcha Ed !
It was easy:
1. You measure 10 3/4 " up from the front fender crease and make a tiny mark with a black "Flair" pen.
2. You measure 10 1/2" up from the rear fender crease and make another tiny mark with the same pen.
3. You run a piece of masking tape from mark to mark.
4. You step back and "eyeball" it to make sure it's straight.
5. After you make sure the area is clean, you lightly place the molding even with the top of the masking tape.
6. Step back and make sure it's straight.
7. If it is, take a soft towel and press it on firmly.
VOILA ! You're done and you just saved yourselves a $400 installation job by the dealer ! It took me 20 minutes.

Not to speak on Larry's behalf, but if you honestly think installing an air filter will increase fuel economy you are crazy, im sorry. More air should mean more fuel if anything. Besides there would be more notice of mileage changes in the way one drives. I know my fuel economy goes down when I add such parts, because I love to floor the car each and everytime to listen to it.
I will say, on my previous car, before my Supra, you could notice a difference with intake and exhaust at the higher RPM's. I thought this was nonsense until I returned the car to stock, thats when I could really tell

Theoretically, fuel mileage should increase with the addition of an intake and an exhaust......better breathing and less effort on the part of the engine.
I never experienced better mileage since I, like Lex, have my foot into it all the time just to hear it.
The car is much faster.......psychology........since it sounds meaner !
