sounds like you are on track by looking at a number of cars. Make sure that cars w this mileage have had the timing belt/water pump service completed.

happy hunting

Thanks. I do have a question. I like the indigo blue/ecru (really clean) but the front strut is a little worn and the nav wont tilt. The belt and water pump has been changed in 09 and the car has 111k miles.

Dealer is asking 15.9k. This includes everything for me to walk out the door.

definately a good thing that your checking different cars but I still think you can find a better deal.. I would suggest going for the newest you can find. Timing belt is very important but so are the rest of the fluids which can also be costly and make sure the intervals are within time as this stuff can cause damage also!

I can obviously understand the urge to pick up a car asap but sometimes rushing can lead to a wrong decision. I remember a time I picked up a car impatiently then a week later something I wanted exactly with a better price was up for sale :/.. lol learned from that to always be patient and find exactly what you want, new cars come everyweek

Thank you for mentioning this. I will use to bargain to 14.8k out the door. I noticed my sales rep had the sniffles. Not sure if its a drug addiction but he was wearing all Ed Hardy.

You are absolutely correct! New cars do come every week. But being an sc430, I think prices will eventually go up as time flies by because its a discontinued reliable PRHT.
