Default Armrest Lower Box Replacement

The previous owner had an fm transmitter installed by the shifter and ran the cables into the lower storage box below the arm rest. Problem was they installed a power switch and a large nasty whole toward the bottom the get the cable through. They also lost the flap door that covers the manual cable release for the top and the mat that goes on the bottom. I have been searching Sewell for the parts, but I can't figure out which part numbers I need. Is it possible to replace this lower box with replacing the entire center console?

I also can't figure out how to remove the existing box. Any ideas? I took the two screws out located at the bottom, but that does seem to loosen anything. I tried searching on the forum, but it doesn't look like anyone has done this....or do my mad search skills suck that bad???

As always, thanks for the help. Not sure what I'd do without a great forum like this one.

Thanks. Brian

Sure. I'll try to upload some tomorrow when I get back home. I'm traveling this week on business and have the picture of the part at home (I was trying to get a new one from a salvage yard, but they kept trying to sell me the center console - the wood that goes around the shifter, cub holder, and ash tray).

Thanks. Brian

If all you are trying to do is to cover up the hole, why not just buy a plug/cover for it?

The Sewell parts department is pretty awesome. If you email with a description, they'll tell you exactly what you need.

Thanks. I'll drop them a line.

Here are the pictures of the part I'm trying to replace. Does anyone know what would be involved in swapping it out?

Thanks. Brian

See picture from the plastic cover over the release pull from my 2008 SC. The part number imprinted is 58915-24010 BUT I can't find it in Sewell parts site. Call them for info

The piece of carpet that covers the bottom is listed as 58815-24010 in the sewell parts site and its only about $5. My box and carpet is Black, not gray. I looked at model year 2002, 03 and 08 and the part number for the carpets is the same. I'm not sure what color you'll get if you order it. Again a call to Sewell should get you the answer.
