Mine are similar but not identical. My length measures 35mm and the larger diameter is 22mm. There is no red band and my end cap bevel and glass is slightly different from the units pictured in your auction. I spent some time looking over the current crop of ebay projectors. It appears like it going to be hard to get exactly the same thing twice! My seller has changed his listings to a new style with different dimensions than what I bought and received. As always it's buyer beware.

Mine has now been sitting next to me and running for 40 minutes continuously. It's warm, bordering on hot, but I can still hold it in my hand.

My projector is about 9" off the ground, with stock suspension, and the projected logo is about 12" in diameter. It is absolutely not daylight visible.

Yeh I figured you were less then 12 " maybe 10 " because above that and the logo is just large to see in day light.
Its a cool toy and is best used or seen in night time. I plan on installing but I am waiting till weather is better. Have you pulled your door panel off ever. I am not sure I remember how to disconnect the lock cable and the door push rod from the handle. Any advise for me on doing that.

Yes I already looked at that write up but it does not show or tell you how to remove the cables for the door lock and the door actuator. It appears that he just turned the door vertical and did the work. I will need to remove the panel so I can drill it and be sure I am getting the projector installed where I want it.

Sweet. Nice work.

How did you protect the license plate mount placement from dirt and road grime?

The projector lens gets dirty - and cleaned- just like my back-up camera lens.

Check out post #26 to see where it's installed. I just used the included drill bit for my installation. The wire is then just routed up to the license plate wiring about a foot away. The picture shows the license plate wiring. Note that the green wire is the positive+ and the white with black stripe is the negative-. And, yes, I taped up the spices after the photo was shot! The projectors can be found on ebay. Look for "LED projector puddle lights" and the like.

This is the link to where I bought mine

That in line fuse is actually the safety device that should turn the bulb off in about 4 min

This is great! I would install mine the same but will include a switch so I have the option of on-off.

Can not wait to get mine!

Turbo did you install your door projectors near the courtesy door light ? I plan to install mine more in the middle near the speaker in one of the wider plastic sections.

I think my projectors may be a bit smaller. I think more in the middle for me will drop the projector a bit lower thus the projected image will be a bit smaller on the ground and may have better focus
