Thanks Sp. I tried to come from the bottom, but agree that the fender liner would be good. However my shop who did my car, used permanent plastic fasteners, instead of the screw-pop type. Hence I tried from coming below. I was able to pop the back and saw the wires. Coming from below could not see how to remove old and install new. But you are right coming from the fender will be it. Some other time. I may even sell the H3 LED's.

Well folks, the conversion is done. Pics and DIY, tips to follow. Must say the cruddy yellowy-orangy DRL are gone as well as the park lights. They are all WHITE. On the DR side for the 9005 DRL, had to solicit the wife's tiny hands. Took her 5 minutes (but I know I will pay for this, lol).

I am a happy camper. Now time to wash the SC, been raining here. Then the top will be down. It is 65 degrees right now.

Pics coming...

Thanks for the answers.

Thanks.
The entire lens and assemble come out as a unit the tab releases each side or it may be just one side but that is how its done.

Here are go:

1. Prep and test all LED bulbs. I used alligator clips for the battery.
2. 7440 Reverse lights, easy twist off, replace, test and then plug in.
3. 168 Park Lights. The access is through the fender liner, remove trim, fold away the liner as much as required, it is ok because it will re-shape back. Twist off the assembly, mount LED, test to make sure it lights up, you may need to rotate polarity, also adjust the wire (pull away) to make sure contact is made.
4. 9005 DRL Remove the plastic trim covers on the sides. Note that the supplied decoder is wired wrong. I used the tester LED provided to confirm positive connection. RED wire to RED wire meant that I had to remove the tab and then I used tape to make sure the connector stayed plugged. The decoders will just lay outside the lamp assembly.
PASS side. In my case since I had the Injen intake, the air box was gone. Easy to pull out the DRL. Test the LED and then install.
DRIVER side. This was the tricky one. Be patient and you will need small hands to be able to get in there. I ended up cutting through the rubber covers to get in there.

I think my DRL bulbs were not quite working right to start with. It had these yellow crud inside the bulbs.

Are your DRL's this yellow-orange? My RX DRL's are better looking. I will change my RX DRL's as well.

Mine were not that orange but yellowish - did the same mod you just did but used bright yellow H3's for the fogs. My wife has a 2010 RX450h but the DLR's are whiter than they were on my 2004 SC.

Suggest that all LED bulbs be tested and at the same time identify the POSITIVE wire.

Thanks. I just tugged on the License Plate assembly and it just fell. You were right, push tab and pull, it drops. Will be done 1st thing in the morning. Also the assembly is thick with crud, probably have accumulated 8 years of mud.
