Default Navigation and Iphone 4

I paired my wife's Iphone 4 with the navigation in her '08 SC and then tried to transfer the contacts into the unit. It would not transfer. Is there another way to get here contacts in where they are readily retrievable? Also, can contacts be called with the voice system? Like most everyone else on this forum, I find the navigation and Bluetooth almost useless. We never got around to using navigation as we usually know where we are going and just started to try it out a couple of weeks ago. The BT in our FJ is easy.

The 08 SC Bluetooth is pretty lame. It functions exactly like the one that was in my prior 05 Prius.

Check out this link for compatibility and functions available. . http://touch.lexus.com/lexus/mobilelink/

I have not been successful in transferring either single or multiple contacts from an iPhone. I was able to transfer contacts from my old Palm Treo.

Another issue I have with the SC and the Prius is that if I initiate a call from the phone I don't hear the phone ring through the car speaker or hear when the party answers. When party answers the Nav screen shows connection and I start to talk.

thanks flyct. that is a good site. The '08 navigation is infuriating to me. I can usually stumble through most software but this navigation is so cumbersome as to be virtually useless.
