Have 120k on the clock, and PO did not do timing belt, so that is on the list for this winter.

Looking for a pdf of the service manual. Anyone have a link to one?

Better get to that timing belt. Someone else here ruined the engine with about 104,000 on the car. Better safe than sorry.

 

I don't believe that the service manuals are available on-line, though there is considerable data available on the Lexus website about your car. I believe that you have to purchase the service manuals though, at least that is the way it used to be.

 

Poke around (maybe even on this site) and you'll find lot's of bits and pieces. I found a lot of resources on this engine, which was widely used in various forms on Toyota trucks.

 

I found a PDF version of the shop manuals on a CD from an eBay seller.

Tutorials are at the bottom of the linked page. The LS 430 engine is the same as the SC 430. If you need more info go onto the LS 430 forum and search. There are a lot of DIYers over there.
