Default should have looked better!

well, there was a little air sound rushing through the top driverside seal in the roof, they fixed it so it's better but still there! But now that we have it, I just noticed on the rear deck between the rear windows, there is a blister in the vinyl as if something leaked on it and it bubbled up ever so slightly. Are there any known problems with these things. And last, the rear speakers do not seem to play very loud. we adjusted the fader, but the rear volume is more than half the front... no popping but you would think the volume level would be the same. I know the sound system isnt the best but I thought blown speakers would have a popping noise.

Doesn't sound like an accident to me. The small air bubble on the back lid is very common. Mine has it to. There are threads here that talk about ways to fix it easily. Do a search. The speaker volume may have to do with the volume control on the steering wheel. Others may have more to add on this. I believe your car is a CPO car, right? If so, press the dealer to make the top fit tight with no air leaks. They should be able to fix this. These are not huge problems. Your car will be fine.

I recently also noticed an air bubble on back deck that was noticeable in hot sunny weather. Simply took a straight pin and stuck it in the middle of the bubble and that has solved that problem very simply! It does not expand anymore and is not noticeable. Good luck.

You spoke about front rear fader, what about left right balance ...how is it? And, how is it with the fader?

tried fader and balance, front speakers are good, rear speakers are barely making sound. had fade on rear 6 at volume 42, front still loud, rear speakers...not so much! not big things but wondering if there is known issue, may just be the speakers are shot...anyway, guess we will experience lexus service sooner than I thought. We are loving the car, can not get a chance to post pics since too busy driving around...one big complaint about the car that dealership can't fix and even the manager couldn't help.... Wife won't let me drive it!

If the sound isn't distorted, my best guess it's the amp rather than the speakers. They should take care of it for you without any problems.

If I had a CPO on my SC like you do, I would have a hay day in the service department by getting every last thing fixed properly. You are lucky to have that. Not because many things go mechanically wrong or anything like that, but when speakers are known to blow and small things happen, Lexus will take care of it.

Speakers, seal, custom settings, hesitation when accelerating hard from dead stop! Wonder which model we get to play with for the day!
