Default I wish my SC had....

.....Sensors in the bumper for backing up, call it parktronic or whatever. I am not one for a silly gimmicks like rain sensing wipers on my car but with the high trunk lid to accommodate the top, its damn hard to see what you are running over when in reverse.
They should have included it as a standard feature. Anyone agree or disagree? I can't be the only one parking by feel out there! Just kidding I don't do that but sometimes it feels like that...

Default geez..

I don't think the car is THAT bad... I test drove a MINI with this feature and thought it was damn ridiculous on that small a car!!!

I know the Infiniti Q45 has an optional camera mount in back to see what is behind you... that would be kind of cool but I hate those back-up sensors myself....

Default And...

I'm with you DropTop430. Visibility-wise all cars these days seem to be designed like Testarosas and Diablos. What's up with that! I forget about it until I drive someone's older Nissan or Mercedes and I can see the car's dimensions from the driver's seat. So yeah, bring on the tronics.

CE, you may have yours disabled... and yes, the Mini is overkill.

AND, I wish the sound system had adjustable EQ levels. There's a lot of nice sounds in that system we can't access.

Are you guys getting to be that old that you cant turn around anymore? The last thing I need is to be backing up and hearing something beeping with the top down. Please consult old Seinfeld jokes for the appropraite age as to when people stop turning around while backing out of the driveway.

As for the EQ, it turns out most people dont have a clue as to what they are doing, believe it or not. I very much doubt that anykind of majority of people would know how to program one. I'll also bet Lexus didnt want to recieve 1000 calls per day from irate users. I will agreew ith you on one thing, the could have used pre-programmed settings, such as jazz, rock, concert, hall and etc. Much like a mid-level home reciever would consist of.

I agree with your points. Of course we want an on-off tronic system. (I want it so the dealers quit munching my bumpers. Twice now.) And yes, the EQ settings you mentioned would be an improvement over just the two top up-down settings.

Droptop430 Check out Lex Lugar's pics. He installed a WaLd body kit and also installed the sensors.
