Default Bilstein Dampers

Bilstein just finished reworking my front Bilstein Sports Dampers. Will be shipping them out in about 2 days can't wait. Sending the Rears Bilstein Sports Dampers next to be done, they will be cutting the body 1-1/4 and damper rod shorter then the stock rear dampers to work and revalving them to. Then I'll have them installed and have Bilstein Sport Dampers on all 4 corners. They reduced the Sport Dampers dampering by 20% which is 10% more then Bilstein HD's my Swift Springs will do the trick.

Hi Guy's
Just received my Rear Bilstein Sport Dampers from Don's Sport Vehicles Sales today. Will be sending them to Bilstein to be redone. Fronts should be here any day now after being redone. Then will be waiting for the Rears to get done. Can't wait to have it all done so I can have it all installed.

2002 430sc
Bilstein Sport Dampers
Front 24-028028
Rear 24-028035
These Damper are for the GS300.
This mod will only work on 02 to 04
The Rears must be redone at Bilstein to fit, if you don't want to cut the bump stop..

Bacardi, have them cut the body but not the rod. It needs to be the same as stock.

The key is to get more rod travel distance to avoid cutting bump stop.

What's wrong with just cutting the bump stop, isn't that easier then cutting the body?

Thanks mate.

Has anyone actually tried this with a 2006+ model?

The suspension is different on the later models.

Harley, I believe its ok as long you replace both shock+ spring all together.

From what I remember only shock+ spring have different part numbers from 02-05.

As a note, I don't recommend Bilstein rears for those planing on droping more than an inch. Will risk bottom out more than normal.

Of course it doenst matter if cutting shock body like Bacardi.
