ps pm, thanks but i think i'l stay w/the code alarm.
anybody had a code alarm??? thanks, lf
I just bought a full LuxLink from Steve at Luxury Motor Works, based solely upon what I read here at CL. It is an awesome product, and Steve is a terrific guy to deal with. Steve gave me some excellent tips prior to install and was remarkably available for my questions during install. I got a couple of wires reversed and Steve got me sorted quick. Just can't say enough good things about the product and support. And it works from the factory key, no silly extra fob to carry around!
cliff what's pm???
vegas, you ordered a luxlink "couple weeks ago"??? soooooooooooo what's w/that??!!! you got it yet??? don't think so!!
sooooooooooooo what 'bout my code alarm remote deal??? rsvp/asap. thanks, lf
yes, I already received it. If you're happy with the Code system go for it. I bought (and received) the luxlink because of the recommendations here. Plus it drops the top and I wanted the rear window mod.

I'm pretty sure I had code alarm and was able to drop my top. From what i remember it just a function like opening/closing the doors.
Just talked to my installer. I had Auto page. I asked him what alarm can drop the top and his exact words were "Any alarm just have to have skills with relays and pulse timers."
He also said Code Alarm was junk. who knows, good luck
