The Next SC?
they added an interior shot. looks like it might be a 2-seater. or else very little headroom in the back. whatever it is, it's not a convertible. looks like it has a large sunroof instead.

Reminds me of Gypsy Rose Lee; giving us just a little at a time to keep us interested.

Lexus SC's have always been 2+2's, even with the SC430. They will have to retain that seating arrangement to complete with RWD luxury coupes from Infinity, BMW, Mercedes and others. The Lexus 2-seater is already available in the LF-A.
Despite the fixed roof this is still a far cry from the sportier SC300/400 lineup. I really hope the four-door GS350 isn't the only spiritual successor to the original.
This thing does look interesting but I have no clear indication as to what cars they want to market this against, or if it will be an upmarket high performance car or pricey (and cushy) tourer like the SC430.

This one is a 2+2:
I'm having a hard time believing this is the next SC.
To me, it feels more like the evolution of the LFA.
If Lexus really makes this into the SC and keep it around 60-80K, they will sell a ton of them.
They won't be able to make them fast enough. Big problem would be where to set the power.
Somewhere between 400-475 seems likely. It wouldn't make sense for it to be as powerful as the LFA....unless it really is the sucessor to the LFA.
Whatever it is, Lexus seems to be headed in the right direction to keep me as a customer.
Who knows, maybe there will be GS and IS coupes as well.

They're calling it the LF-LC for now, which is a pretty clunky name. I can't see them producing two different lines of coupes. So if they do produce it, it'll be the successor whether they call it an SC or not. If I had to guess, they would call it the SC-F.
It's easy to find two seaters these days. Not so easy to find RWD 2+2's that aren't detroit pony cars.
