Default Goodbye Sc430

Last night I was heading to a family member's home where I came across a woman in distress. I barely saw her car parked in the left lane and almost hit her. I stopped and put my hazards on to figure out why she was stopped. She told me that her car was on fire and needed help. I told her that she needed to get her car onto the shoulder and out of the left lane. I got out the car and decided to look under her hood before trying to help he move it. I got in front the car and popped her hood. As i did this, I heard tires screeching, and i looked up to see my car's back end being destroyed by impact. My car then hit her car and her car hit me. I was thrown about 15 feet and rolled. I dragged myself to the median and laid down.

Seeing that this was my baby's 6th Accident. I am glad she is in a better place.

Wow...OMG glad you are ok. That was very nice of you to stop and help her, considering you put not only your car but also your body at risk of being hit. Question? Why didn't you just help her and forget about the car, especially since it wasn't parked in a safe place knowing this before you got into the idea to look at the hood? Especially since she said it was on fire? Just curious...was it a split second kind of decision?

Sorry to hear about your baby's 6th accident. I'll be glad to help you search for another new baby if you want...I love spending other people's money!

Stopping on highway is the most dangerous thing. OP should have parked on the shoulder.

I'm glad you did not suffer any greater injury than you did. While I don't necessarily subscribe to this concept, does the phrase "No good deed goes unpunished" apply here?

In other words, because life is inherently unfair, those who help others are doomed to suffer as a result of their being helpful.

Since your road hazard emergency flashers were on, did you find out why the driver who collided with your vehicle, did so?

If you had not parked in the way, lady would probably be dead. This is a case where the 06 tail light conversion might have helped. I am sure glad you both survived.

Yes, your car took one for the team and probably saved you too. Time for another SC430

+1 even if you "think" you are ok, make sure for insurance purposes and settlement purposes you go get checked out right away. Sometimes things like spine/neck injuries or internal bleeding don't show themselves right away.

Geez...other than the faint peekaboo of the tail light and the muffler it's hard to tell WHAT that mangled mess is. So sad....

What are you going to get to replace it?
