Default Need replacement sub for 02 Plug & Play

I had my LuxLink installed today (flawless install by BestBuy and I love it) and turns out my sub is bad. Does anyone know of a sub that I can pop in with minimal mods? Sorry if their is a posting already on this but I could not find one. Thanks, Wayne

you can buy any sub the same size and there is a 2 wire connection. it will not have oem connections so you will have to splice and wire them in . its simple. just strip the oem wire ( try doinging this as far back away from the connector as possible) the red is positive and black is negative and your done. or just go back to bestbuy and have them install it.

How much did Best Buy charge? If you don't mind sharing. I could do the install myself but hate soldering lol

You need to match the new sub with the oem sub on resistance and size.

Best Buy charged $450 but underestimated it. It took 8 hours. They get $85/hr. I used the Emeryville, CA store. They do outstanding work. I have used them many times.

my installer took 9.5hrs i got 4 for free so i paid 5.5 @ 70hr at audio itch, everything works great except rear window module which im going to take out the back seats and check out per Steve they might just have not cut the black wire loop for 2 window use.

also forgot to mention, NO you cannot just drop any sub in from the same size, all speakers have different OHM loads so unless you want to destroy your ML amp I would recommend buying that OEM sub, disconnecting your sub and adding an aftermarket sub and amp using those leads via a high to low module, or finding a sub with the exact same OHMs are our OEM ML sub.
