package tray strength

Default package tray strength

My son has asked if the car can be used to drive around the football field during halftime at homecoming, with two members of the homecoming court sitting parade style. Since I can't see them sitting on the rear headrests, this would mean pillows on the package tray, with legs over the rear seats. Obviously very slow speeds.

Would I be risking damage to this critical part of the retractable roof equipment????????

Our rear trunk is made of aluminum, not steel. Beware.

I've actually seen this done at Friday Night High School Homecoming games with an SC430. A little awkward because the headrest is not removable but doable as long as there's no horseplay and the driver keeps under 3 MPH

don't do it! stepping on it will cause you to replace a certain very expensive part... thats what i was told. I can't remember it but its around 2k for it.....
