Default Bluetooth

Hey Guys,
Just bought a 2006 and I love it.
only issue i am having is with the bluetooth
I am able to pair , but I cant hear anything and the other side cant hear me.
I thought it was the Droid issue , but same happened with a BB.

any thoughts???

I'm not sure this will fix your problem, but you may want to try and adjusting volume levels per directions in this thread below:

I will try to find something inside that menu.
but i doubt its a volume issue since the other person cant hear me.
and the mute button also doesnt do anything

This is what the screen looks like while on a call....
The volume buttons dont do not respond at all. but i am able to disconnect the call.
Also not sure if its related but the Nav disk is not in at the moment (could that be the reason??)

Are you saying that if you press the volume button, the visual volume display (the yellow bars) do not move?

Likewise are you saying that when you press the mute button, the text does not change (Mute ON / Mute OFF)?

Yes
Exactly! nothing happens on the screen.

Have you updated to Froyo? This was an extremely common Android issue pre-Froyo involving many different makes of cars. Many have reported that Froyo solved the problem.
