Progress on Luxlink: The Test
I was checking the battery effectiveness of my key fob inside my house last night, so I was pressing the buttons randomly, completely forgot the function of the LL, sure enough I accidentally remotely started the car in the garage under a car cover. Good thing my SC got a loud exhaust on it so I could hear it starting, if not, it would keep running until I notice it in the morning
Not so the car would of shut off in 5 minuites [ oldder model of luxlink ] or 15 minuites newer model of luxlink.
Default setting on luxlink is if you dont put the key in and turn the ignition to on car will turn off by ityself. You wont have a dead battery in the morning because the ignition is really turned off so there is no drain

That's not good! Sometimes the car alarm goes off on my other cars if I lean over in the house with the key in my pocket. I would be concerned about carbon monoxide with your car running all night. Be careful.!

My car cover was on though, so that wasn't that cool. But I guess it won't hurt anything, it might just make the cover dirty from the exhaust pipe.
Thank you, but as barncat just pointed out, it would have turn itself off.
