Default SC430 carbon fiber

Has anyone done any carbon fiber on their sc430 in the interior yet?

What about carbon fiber on the front using a vinyl film instead of the 3m clear bra?

I'm with you bro. When a car has wood as nice as this, why meddle with perfection?

Well to each his own. I say do the carbon fiber thing. And I'll dispose of the wood for ya - just saying.

Exactly! If you don’t like nice wood trims, maybe you should drive something else…

But again, to each his own!

If you have some body kits like Artisan or BRS on the sc430, then it makes more sense to go with carbon fiber interior especially you also have the engine supercharged or turbocharged like these two below.

I have a Colgan car bra for my SC430 in carbon fiber (or something that looks like carbon fiber), and although my car and the car bra are both black, I don't think it looks all that great, and could not imagine putting a film on the hood for permanent protection. This works fine for road trips, but that's enough.
As for the interior, in my opinion I think wood on the interior of a car, when well done as in a Lexus, looks much more elegant and luxurious, but perhaps the fans of the carbon fiber look are trying to create a different impression.
Or perhaps I'm just too old to get it.

I am not a big fan of carbon fiber, either.

I would consider the carbon fiber interior only if the exterior of my SC430 was modified to a SC-F look-alike.
The same principle that Lexus gives the IS some wood trim, but gives the IS-f some aluminized composite accent that looks like carbon fiber.
