Excellent. That's a must have mod then! I was afraid that the ECU wouldn't take them down when the top was already down--since it wasn't expecting them to be in that position--- and since there doesn't seem to be any feedback from any limit switches from those 1/4's, to the roof ecu.

Thanks again for the confirmation. 4PDT Relays will be ordered tomorrow!

No Problem!

I do want to warn you however that I have only tried that scenario about 3 times. twice after installation and once when it was a little chilly and I wanted to block wind to rear for my nieces in back seat.

But I never liked bringing rear windows up with top down.. however the other way I would almost use it a lot.. windows down.. then top down whenever, worked flawlessly. (there wasn't a single day in the summer that I didn't bring these windows down, and after sun down my top would be down)

However now I try to bring windows up before moving top because I randomly had the quarter window fuse blow on me twice in the summer randomly.. im not sure what it was and why it happened. everything functioned well after fuse was changed and it didn't happen again.. drove car 4 - 5 months after and now the car is sitting in for the winter. It could be that I have used a different gauge for one of the positive wires (thinner).. so I will check that this summer and change it to the same.. But the layout and design is exactly the same as others have done it and they have never had any issues and its been MANY MANY YEARS. I myself have had the mod for 2.5 years now

someone who understands electronics well can explain why gauge is important.

And im really glad I did it.

by original wires do you mean the cars stock wires ? compared to mine? .. well I noticed the ecu has many different types of wires coming out of it... but I do think the ecu wires are very similar to mine.. I just know that for the positive and negative tap on one end I have a very thick wire and on other I have a very thin one...
