Are the lens covers on the Headlights.....

Default Are the lens covers on the Headlights.....

Are they glass or plastic? Thanks .... All the lens restorer"s say they work on plastic? Anybody had to clean the haze off the lenses?

Plastic. Or polycarbonate to be exact.

My SC430 had a really bad fade/whiting of the headlights when I first brought her.
You can use those plastic polish on them or if it was really bad like mine I use a metal polish call Autosol.

I used 3M lens restorer kit on mines... Works great!

Did you have to use some kind of uV retardant on the lens afterwards to prevent the hazing from returning?

Not realy.... I did it last summer and they're still very clear... I guess a lite buff from time to time would keep them nice and clear.
